The folks at the Rebuilding Alliance are looking for individuals or organizations that would host (provide venue, promote, and be hosts at) fundraisers for their speaking tour to save a Kindergarten and help a Palestinian village thrive. They'll have speakers (the head of the Al Aqabah Village Council and the Director of the Kindergarten) available in the Bay area from October 7-17.
If anyone would like to spearhead putting together a fundraiser as part of this speaking tour, please contact Donna Baranski Walker (see below).

Rebuilding Hope: a Speaking Tour to Save a Kindergarten and Help a Palestinian Village Thrive! Our tour will last from Sept. 12-Oct. 20th and includes Washington DC, New York City, Houston, Orange County/Los Angeles, the San Francisco area, Olympia WA. We are honored by the news that Madame Luisa Morgantini, Vice Presdient of the European Parliament, will be flying in from Rome to accept an award at our First Annual Peacemakers Dinner in Orange County CA. We are in the San Francisco Bay Area area from Oct. 7 to 17th and, as you will see in our schedule, there are many openings. We would be happy to join you in any vigils or events related to peace and justice in Israel and Palestine. We would welcome visits with teachers and schools to describe the
www.PinwheelsForPeace.com efforts underway in the village. We are grateful for meetings with
Congressional staffers and editorial boards as we think there is a relatively easy way to save the village from demolition and we hope many constituents will ask their representatives to intervene on their behalf, to save the village. We welcome speaking events and private house party fundraisers too. Our team of four has been working together for a very long time to save this village.
