From our friends at Village Harvest: What a holiday bonus! We thought we were winding the persimmon season down... then this past weekend we were offered 2 Fuyu persimmon orchards in Morgan Hill totaling about 350 trees. These orchards are BEAUTIFUL, FLAT, FULL of fruit and quite low. Picking is going to be fun and easy, and there's lots of it - we want to pick 10,000 lbs. of fruit. Come on out and help us make the season merrier for thousands of families in need. | Th Dec. 17 | 12:30 - 4 pm | Persimmons - Morgan Hill Orchard 1 20 volunteers wanted | | Sat Dec. 19 | 9am – 12:30pm | Persimmons - Morgan Hill Orchard 2 20 volunteers wanted | | Sat Dec. 19 | 12:30 - 4 pm | Persimmons - Morgan Hill Orchard 2 20 volunteers wanted | | Mon Dec 21 | 10am - 2 pm | Persimmons - Morgan Hill Orchard TBD 20 volunteers wanted | RSVP by email to events@villageharvest.org to join in indicating the event date, your name, number and age of volunteers.
