Robin and her grandson Brendan are living in "poverty in the midst of plenty".  Due to deep cuts in the social safety net in their home state (California), they are struggling more and more.  Robin is diabetic, is disabled from a back injury and traumatic brain injury and is recovering from chemotherapy which has left her without energy, all of which makes it difficult for her to care for Brendan; Brendan is a high-functioning Autistic currently in a job training program through his school and facing more cuts to his services.  Brendan's computer, his lifeline when he is not in school, needs repair; the roof on their home is leaking and needs repair; Robin needs warm winter clothing that fits. They do not have sufficient funds to cover all of these things and they do not have family to help. Please pray for a return to Robin's energy and for improved health; please pray for aid for them in repairing the computer and the roof and in getting warm winter clothing that fits for Robin; please pray for job training and eventual job placement success for Brendan; please pray for a general improvement in their circumstances.
