Helen Morales will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her son Jeff sent some pictures which I have scanned in and created an album and slideshow for. A service of internment of ashes and a reception was held on April 20th. Click here to view photos from that day taken by Jim Hewlett, Helen's deacon. Helen grew up in Wichita Falls, Texas. Here she is with her parents, Tom and Vera Hunter. Tom was in the oil business.
This wedding picture is from 1950, when Helen married Glenn Gross.
In the late 1940s Helen moved to New York City to pursue a singing career. She gave a solo recital at Carnegie Hall in 1951
1953--Shortly after the birth of her only child, Jeff. Glenn died in 1954.
In 1960 Helen and Jeff moved to Palo Alto. From 1963 to 1970 she was married to Gale Engle. In 1974 Helen married Philip Morales. Here they are in 1994.
